Let's Support Anti-Fascist, Pro-Liberationist Artists!

It’s Giving Tuesday! I know this is one of many emails you’ll receive today asking for a financial donation. So, if you’re actually reading this email, thank you!

Let’s Give A Damn’s nonprofit, the Let’s Give A Damn Foundation, is taking our work to the next level in 2026. And we need your help!

Over the last few years, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to serve food to protestors, purchase water filtration systems for communities in Haiti, help folks who lost work during the pandemic, provide life-saving aid to Palestinians in Gaza, and, more recently, give money to folks who lost their SNAP benefits during the recent government shutdown. It’s been an honor to serve our neighbors in these meaningful ways.

Beginning in 2026, however, we’re going to laser focus on supporting anti-fascist, pro-liberationist artists as they seek to create art, build community, and *attempt* to make a living doing this important work.

Why artists? Because making art is dangerous and we must take care of the artists engaging in this life-saving and world-building work.

BUT we need some time and space in Q1 of 2026 to build the systems, structures, and strategy for this important work. So, we’re hoping to raise at least $50,000 before the end of the year which will allow us to engage in this important work in the coming year.

Can you help us? I know finances are tight for so many right now. If it’s a decision between taking care of your people and donating to LGADF, please take care of your people! But if you have a few dollars (or more 😉) to spare, we promise to use your donations wisely. We’re beyond excited for what’s to come!
